I will need to get my P38 re-shod soon. It has a mixed bag of tyres at the moment as it was when I bought it. The current tyre spec is 235/70 R16 106H. I use the car every day all day on roads. I don't go off road but live in a rural area and want something good quality with a bit more grip and control in winter. Any suggestions please?

i live in the orkneys we have had a lot of snow this winter i use my p38 on and off road and find that general grabbers 255 65 16 all terrain 2 a good tire good grip at all times well priced

I would not recommend Pirelli Scorpion tyres as i fitted two last year and 1 did 15000 miles and got a blister and the other look worn out at about 20000 also i had a spare one that looked reasonably new but lasted 6000 before a sidewall failiare But 1 have had a Toyo open country on the vehicle that has done at least 32000 and still plenty of tread on it.

I have a set of Bridgestone fitted. 20000 miles later, they are still good. Couldn't find a good tyre that will last for 250000 miles plus with an unlimited guarantee for £50 a corner.

Wish I lived in Scouseland, all it would cost is the price of 4 breeze blocks and a pint down the Scotland Road !!
