Afternoon all,
So my 99 td5 is all serviced and ready for the upcoming winter season and fun!

I’m looking for some advice and inspiration for what to do next. Trying to keep it standard but also be able to do some green laning and normal roadwork. I’m going to fit a snorkel for some wading and I’m thinking of light bar , straight pipe and other mods that don’t require any lifting or extending. Are there any must haves for light off roading/ green laning that I will need ( sorry very new to this)

I’m thinking of getting some 245 70 r16 tyres but will this catch the wheel arches. I don’t have any lift on at the moment. Do you have any suggestions on other sizes I can do with the standard height?

Thanks

My TD5 Disco did the usual exhaust manifold nightmare, which can be avoided if you get ahead of it.
Are Defenders prone to this as well? (Anyone)?
Cos if they are I'd get it done under "preventative maintenance". Boring I know, but there you go!
You don't want to be feckin around drilling snapped-off bolts out of your head if you can avoid it.;)
