Tyres for a Discovery - 205 80 R16

I'm sure this has been covered many times but I've had a search with little success so sorry for bringing up what is probably an old chestnut.

Need some tyres for the Disco to do some off roading but not compromise road use too much. It is currently on 205 80 R16s - any recommendations for that size? Only option I've found so far are some Avon all-terrain. Alternatively, would it be better to get some spare (bigger?) rims and put some more dedicated off road tyres on those? (But not too big as I don't fancy modding the bodywork.....just yet )

:doh: Thanks for the link. I did take a quick look at that before I posted but I was more after what makes/model of tyre are good for which use. There seems to be very little choice for my current tyre size. Just wondered if I was overlooking some 205 80 16 options. Would rather stay with the size I have if I can but if those Avons are the extend of the choice I have then I guess I have to size up.

BFG AT2's are highly recommended for not too serious occasional off-road use.

I've just fitted these, and must say their road manner's so far are excellent ... and from what I've been told they'll do nicely for all but serious off-roading driving.
