Tyres Don't shout at me !!!!

I have done the search but that much science thrown at this subject I've been left baffled

I have standard alloys 16" " on my disco 2
I have put new suspension all round Terrafirma heavy duty 2" lift
Wheels look tiny and huge void in arches and I want to fill that with rubber.
Whats the biggest tyres I can throw at the standard wheels 265/75R16 ????
Thinking about Cooper Discoverer stt will they fit or should I bite the bullet and get steel wheels ?

have you searched as there has been loads on here!

type biggest disco 2 tyres in the search box-see wot appens

You can put 265/75's on std alloys no problem.

i have a 2" lift kit with 265 75 16 bf goodrich mts
very happy with the look of the car and no rubbing issues at all

With a HD bumper and springs and shocks you could go 285 75 16
