:) Hi all,
I have a 5 door TD4 ES on a "Y" plate and have just covered 42000 miles on the original tyres, and will need to replace them within the next few thousand miles, I should think, before they get down to the wear markers.
I replaced the original front brake pads at 38000 miles only because I was given some new ones for free.
I was wondering if anyone else has a similar story. I was warned when I bought the car (new) that they were really heavy on tyres and brakes. If that is "heavy", then I'm OK with that! Also! I can easily get 40 miles to the gallon (4.5 ltr.) on motorway trips. I do all my own servicing/repairs and the car has a "Power Box" on the common rail sensor.

Regards
Martin :D
