Done about 4-6k on them and they still have the nice color stripes on them only worn down a MM if that lol, Seem good in the wet never had problems even on a bit of a dually with a know puddle she just sailed through as thou it was dry.

Hope I'm not hijacking yer thread Dr E, :)eek::behindsofa:) but as you've started a discussion on tyres and what people have used/recommend; may I add to the debate an enquiry as to peeps's views on Goodyear MTR Durawall Tyres? - in particular, 235/85/16's. I promis i did do a search before posting this, but only found one comment on them and that was from .............................. an Amuuuurican:crazy::5bpatriot::crazy::crazy:

I've got no idea what I'm doing up at this time……..inglorious bastards finished ages ago.
I stayed up to watch it too - even tho' i've got it on blu-ray and watched it about 6 times alreasdy. And all i've done is search on landyzone for info on new tyres, wheels, lights, wading kits, light/a bars, and all the other kit i want to get - which in the morning i'll be too knackered to go to work to pay for. Doh - can't even find the right emoticon :frusty: Night night Landy'ers.

Ok so I'm in need of a new spare and as much as I'd like to stick to the BFG's they're a bit too expensive to keep using so has anyone had any experience with the following;

Mickey Thomson Baja SJZ
Yokohama Geolander A/T-S GO12
Hankook Dynapro MT
Toyo Open Country
Kuhmo MT KL71
Cooper STT's (in 255/70/R16)

Yes I know three of those are MT's but I want to upgrade to MT's from the AT's I'm currently running at some point so my plan was to either get an MT as a spare in the same size 245/70/R16 or get an AT and then replace all of the AT's once worn with MT's and have an AT of the same size as a spare ?

The Coopers are a size bigger (still shouldn't have to mod) but its because they're £10 cheaper than the 245/70/R16's :confused:
i had hankooks, were quiet and handled well on the road, wet or dry. Werent noisey or juciy on fuel-but it was a v8. Werent as aggressive as some and fill with clayey mud easily. Overall not bad but not the best. Were the cheapest when i priced em. Hope yours are good.

Had to go with the Maxxis in the end due to availability, getting fitted tomorrow afternoon as I have no spare and am running on a bad wheel now (spare was inner tubed which I didn't know)

They're either the Buckshot Mudders or Bighorns, can't remember which ones I ordered

From pictures I've seen they both look pretty much the same :cool:
