reading rave states 205/70/16 and 225/70/16, i have 255/65/16 on mine, is there any noticable difference in fuel economy in relation to tyre size?

The rolling resistance of the larger tyre is higher, but the wear rate is lower, possibly balancing out the two things. We have 255/65-R16's on our Disco 2 V8.

255/65-R16 is a standard Disco size if the rims are 8J, see picture from the handbook (Disco 2) below.
