The tyres on my "new" 110 say: " 7.50-16 LT 8 P.R " - this matches no size format I've come across before. Is this 750 R16 in normal speak ?
If so, what is 750 as opposed to say 205/235/265 etc - I mean, theres a huge difference from those figures to 750,.... or is one metric & the other an old imperial measurement? I'm guessing 8 P.R might be ply?
Confused. This brings me to the next question:
Its also just sinking in that all my metric tools may be problemtatic too - I remember that my old series IIa was all imperial - when (and I'm presuming here with fingers crossed that they have since I last owned one) did Landrovers become metric?
