Oops, forgot to say, thanks all for your info. just read it all-duh. Thanks Sue for the good wishes, just have to find somewhere to buy a field now! Back to weight, I have dreadful problems towing the 2 horses in it, and they're not that heavy. I spoke to a friend who's a Landy fan. and he said my particular engine was designed with more top speed for motorways, and less torque at the bottom, hence the poor towing on hills. I've had some scary moments, I can tell you! I'm wondering if I need to change model to the earlier engine, or would the same in a 90 be any different? As you can tell I don't know much! Willing to learn though! Thanks again. Rosie

Forgot to say, it's a lightweight Rice trailer 30 years old, refurbished last year, now needs painting. My son is contemplating stripping it right down, and re-doing it, but not sure if it's worth it. We'll see. x
