Hi folks, I have just purchased an L322 with 20 inch alloys which have 295/40 tyres.
Can you tell me what the tyre pressures should be?

I always go around 5 psi under the max stated pressures on the tyres

Tyre pressures are related to the corner weight of the vehicle, in most cases going to 5 psi under the sidewall max will be massively over-inflating the tyre to the point of distorting the tyre footprint.

I'm doing something wrong then lol

Not had any tyre problems as of yet
Done the same to all my cars ! Oops

So what pressure should my 20" tyres be at ? Lol

do the chalk test.

blow them up to a nominal value,
rub a line of chalk across the tyre,
drive a couple of hundred yards in the dry,
look at chalk mark,
if centre of chalk mark is worn off, decrease pressure,
if outside of chalk mark is worn off, increase pressure,
repeat until all of chalk is worn off uniformly,

tyre pressure is ideal for you motor, loaded as per test.

I found the 20" and 22" options when you select range rover auto 5 door

Make sure your not selecting manual as that will relate to the p38 sizes which use 16" tyres lol
