Hi Guys

I am looking to change the tyres on the 300tdi and I need you opinion.
At the moment I have the Pirelli scorpion ST which provd to be very good. I read though that those are now obsolete and replaced by the STR were the reviews are not so good as the ST.
Also found the infinity 200 on a decent price has anybody tried them ? Also I am looking for the Insa but a bit skeptical regarding the remold/

Any advice much apriciated

Regards
Christos

Hmmm .. STFF .. a new acronym?

You're asking a question that's been asked and answered so many times it's boring to those of us that do help.

To get a decent answer you need to say how you use the vehicle, how much, how often, what you want from a tyre, onroad, offroad, everything, budget ....

So a search on the forum there is shed-loads of info available, all personal and all imparted freely. Do a bit of work and that info can be yours, just don't expect spoon-feeding the easy, boring stuff.

Me stroppy I din't think so. Unless we can't even thank you. I understand your frustration when same questions are asked all the time and I agree it can be very boring. But giving sarcastic answers, aswearing and create spam doesn't help either. At the end of the day nobody is forcing you to answer a question if you feel like it just do it.
Please accept my apologies again I am not targeting in anyone I am just frustrated as you are trying to find an answer to my question. On the other hand I just found out how some people have 7000+ posts !

what ya using the motor for?

i bought some cheap a/t's.. (zeetec vigors)... waste of money..

i started to drive at pay and plays, and green laning so i bought some mahoosive 235/85 insa turbo saharas..

with the intention of swapping wheels tyres for on and off road... did it once, pain in the ass so i just leave the insa's on all the time now.. lol

i do 14,000 miles a year.. they wont last long but i will be gettin some more...

The problem is that you still haven't said what you use the vehicle for; how many miles pa; what you expect from a tyre; how much is your budget etc etc etc.

The tyre you quote is obviously not very well know so few people are going to be able to comment from personal experience.

Also, you are getting stroppy. The advice offered about searching was good advice - you just didn't like it.

Because you are giving little or no info about your usage, it gives the impression of you being a lazy arse. Get involved, share info, do some searching and you'll get a much better response.

Peeps are on here are very helpful, but you need to show some common sense as well.

Good luck

Dave
