Greetings from a warmer part of the world,

My main hobby for as long as I can remember have been classic motorcycles. I have been lucky enough to have owned and restored a varied mix of british. however, as many married with children members know, classic bikes or any bikes for that matter, do not a 'family activity' make. So once again I am turning to 'all four' in order to enjoy the vechiles of yesteryear. So my four of choice is as expected, a series 2 LR that will need some time and a lot of cash to make her 'family activity' ready.
Wish me luck, and say goodbye to my 'two'-love. (pic attched).

Noooooo...I urge you, keep the bike (as well)! I've never got that, several of the guys I ride with have young families and all still have their bikes! The only one who gave any part of biking up was the chap who raced, which is fair enough. But giving up all together? No chance!

oh no... don't get me wrong... she will just be put to the back of the shed under covers until i will finally have time for her again. I have started however thining out the collection, not an easy process believe me, but i have gained a series2 .

Hi

That is a very nice bike. What else you got in the collection? Besides the series 2 that is?

Also running a BSA-M20, and a T100P triumph. letting the T100P go though -reluctantly. Keeping the Beezas, as am planning to to trailer the M20 around with the s2 sort of a 'military theme package' look. Any suggestions:confused:
