TV in a P38

Does anyone out there know where the tv reciever box is situated inside a P38 as I am on to put a digi box in its place.

so how did the TV's recieve a signal when analogue was still up and runing then

usually under/around parcel shelf side bits.

i know gav,summats gorrrn wrong with me meds.

I presently have two lcd screens in the headrests and the satnav screen doubles up as the third

is this an aftermarket kit or factory fitted??

i'm spraying the light guard up at the moment, one of the feckers wont come off so its just gonna get some baby oil and i'm doing the trim under the lights too!!

pain in the arse and the lights fading!!

forgot to fetch mi fone so cant do pics, like a twerp i taped the masking to the bumper and pulled some bloody paint off when removing it!!!

one simple little job ends up bieng a nightmare on these cars!!!

I did a brief bit of research on the OEM TV/DVD system before opting to go with an aftermarket DVD stereo head unit as the parts were too expensive to go the factory route, but from what I remember the electronics for the system are under the passenger seat, although the ariel is part of the general ariel system behind the trim on the drivers side of the boot.

Just to try and pull this thread back on track, from what model year was TV available then on the P38?

back again , it is factory fited in an 2000 P38 although I dont know esactly when TV was a factory option

Its probly at the end of the ariel wire
