Just in case it helps anyone, a little tip for installation of replacement outrigger (tube type).
I have just had to replace both mine on my 200Tdi 90, and learnt a bit along the way.
I was dreading having to cut out the old tubes from the chassis and could see it turning into a major operation. The replacements I bought from Paddocks, and noticed they had a reduced dia on the part that fits into the chassis rail, after cutting off one side as flush as possible with a power hacksaw it was obvious that the replacements were reduced in size to fit into the stub of the original that was left inside the chassis rail.
The problem being that there was a build up of surface rust inside the remains of the tube, after faffing about with files and little sanding drums in a dremel I managed to get it fitting after a good (bad) hour and a half.

When I started in on the other side I had a light bulb moment, cut off flush as before, then ran a 45mm hole saw through all the rust and crap, and hey-presto a nice sliding fit first time, took longer to find the hole saw than it did to do the job.

Cleaned and prepped everything and gave it a good telling off with my mig. Job jobbed, happy bunny.
