hi guys need to fit 2 new tryes on my disco should i fit them on the back or front as at moment one is worn on front n/s the other rear o/s. only just brought disco so dont know history but looks like all the rims are different as are the tryes.
thanks

Check all wheels are exactly the same size, as well as the tyres. The style pattern doesn`t matter (except for sakes of fashion), but size does matter. Ask any lady!
Prob better off with new on front and worn on rear.

it doesnt matter so much on a disco cos they have a centre diff

cars with viscous transfer case should have new tyres on the rear to prevent excessive wind up when cornering, but with a disco this doesnt apply particularly.

i would always say as a rule of thumb to put new tyres on the front for better steering/braking in the wet.

cheers

New gov guidelines arenput new ones on the back because aparently the general public can handle the front wheels washing out (not turning) then overseer duento back wheels sliding.
So apart from that, its just preference as to which you want so it won't bother the disco.
