Hi all, got a 96 Disco that has trouble with first start of the day but has no problem starting after that. Have removed what I think is water from the fuel filter under the bonnet but still has probs. Going to see if I have another filter on the chassis at the rear, would that need draining as well?

Assuming it's a doozel check yer gatting power to the glow plugs, if you are getting power there then check each glow plug, it's not unheard of for all four to be kaput.

More than likely be the spill-off pipes that link the injectors ...

as Carrington says get lots or rags for the sedimentor, (at the rear wheel arch, it's more of a crap catcher than a filter), don't try to turn the bottom knurled thing tho, it'll snap, there's an 11mm bolt on the top ...

Hi Dippypud
Had a break in the rain and found the nut then it started to chuck it down again along with heavy thunder. When I undo the nut will that remove the sedimentor completely? I guessing you mean the nut at the top on the side, am I right?
