Hi All, First post for my Disco Series 2 just checking the underside and see a light leak around the bell-housing/gearbox flange it looks like auto transmission fluid, have checked tightness of filler/level plug pipe unions etc. Any body have any assistance to offer please?

- halfway between here and there.
get the underneath steam cleaned,that way you will see where the leak is,hopefully,but be careful of where you aim the steam etc.

Looks like or is ATF ? before we go any further.
On further inspection, it only leaks with engine running and drive engaged, noticed this when topping up the fluid and going through the gears routine. It's only done a couple of hundred miles since last filled and it took over a litre to top up. Looks like it could be the gasket between the bell housing and the transmission unit, (I presume there Is one?)
Yes confirm its transmission fluid, same colour coming out and I was putting it in !,
