Fellows,
I am a disco owner but I thought that it would be worth posting a few photos for interests sake of a Defender tray back that I helped modify/build three years ago. I believe that the customer was going to use it for Rock crawling. Some of the features/accessories fitted were;
4.6litre supercharged rover v8
ZF 5 speed auto transmission
Haltec engine management system
Stratos custom seats
155litre fuel tank
Long spline tails shafts
ARB diff lockers front and rear
extra low range modification to transfer case
shortened body tray
Big wheels and tyres ( I am not an expert on them, the photos tells all)
There are lots of other modifications fitted that I have not listed. Funny thing I have never heard on how this defender performed off road????
Anyway it was a big transformation from a bog standard 300TDI defender ute.
