Disco 4 (LR4) Trailer recognition

I am struggling to find out if all Disco/LR 4 have the trailer recognition program?!?
I have a plain base model, just installed all the brake control and 7 pin harness (USA trailer standard), have not found a trailer menu anywhere. (Not that I need any backup camera or such) but it would be nice to know if the ABS module is programmed to repress trailer sway in all of the trim versions or if that is an option only on HSE and LUX versions of the Disco 4????
Anybody has knowledge about this? thanks

I know the LR3 needed to be told that the tow hitch was installed, so that advanced functions were active when the plug is connected.
A session on SDD can check and activate the towing functions if needed.

ok, I will check into that. Do you know where in the scanning tool you will find it? in body or electrics?

The actual software is likely stored in a few modules, like the CJB (body module), ABS module, and possibly the Terrain Response Module too.
Once activated, all the modules involved will function together to perform the advanced towing functions.
