I am thinking of fitting a tracker to my Landy not bothered about live tracking etc just would like it back if it got stolen. Anybody got any experience? You can buy cheap gps trackers on ebay which give location via text any good?

You get what you pay for. I've not seen these cheap trackers on ebay, but just the 'Cheap' and 'ebay' words are enough for me to think it's not going to be much cop.

I hear that the Skytag is one of the best bang for buck tracking devices available.

I think cheap security is a false economy. If something is valuable enough for you to invest in it staying your property, I don;t see the logic in looking for cut price security.

Just my 2p

IT'S just amazing of how many people buy cheap and then it bits right in the ASS. Like Matt says you get what you pay for.:your_wrong: for buying cheap and not consider.quality and durability ,for they can be cheaper with longgevity .

MATT like drive with arm out the window:D

Im fancying a Tracker myself. Ive heard the Skytag are good but I think they are easier to jam than a tracker due to the type of signal it transmits on?

It's a necessity I'm telling you. Get a bit of truckers arm suntan though

I'll either need to spend more time as a passenger, or buy a left hand drive vehicle, because I'm starting to look like I've just fisted a cow.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Have you looked at the cobra tracker? Costs a but more than the skytag but you can buy a "lifetime of vehicle" subscription for about £400 which if your planning on keeping your car for a while will save alot in the long run
