Bonnet

Hi good people, going to be fitting a new (td5) to me bonnet, got 2 new little plastic bush things to go with it, they have a slot to go over the bulkhead bracket. The slot isn't central so could fit either way which would alter the height of the back of the bonnet slightly, anybody know which way is correct?
Another quick one , opinions on the optimill quick release steering boss other than not cheap ?
