Hiya Gents/Ladies I need a 2nd opinion..

The Locking nuts for the track rod ends is listed as "125nm" and "160nm" respectively

This sounds a bit meh!

Any thoughts?

Are you fitting a new track rod on a Scania? TREs to steering knuckles on the P38 are 50 Nm 37 Lb Ft.

Nyloc on mine ****part I think but had Indy chuck it on with exhaust for mot so not sure about torques.
125 sounds like when I’ve had titfull and things snap, that’s roadwheel bolt territory if you think about it.

IIRC, we had to wang them up to 70nm on Defender's after a safety recall. Imho, peeps were reusing nylocks, but claimed they hadn't and a lot backed off, so vehicles that couldn't support a castellated nut and spit pin needed the higher torque value.

Those sorts of values could easily sheer something with such a small diameter thread.
