Disco 1 failed MOT due to worn nearside track rod end ball joint !
I know there not expensive to replace and not a major job , need to count number of turns etc etc , however they have right and left hand threads .
MY QUESTIONS ARE:what thread is the nearside ball joint ?
What thread is the off side ball joint ?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Are you sure about that?
If both right hand threads how can the alignment be adjusted, (toe in, toe out)?
I have two '97 Disco's, and both of those have left hand thread one end and right hand thread the other end of the tie rods.

Yes! I wouldn't bother posting if I wasn't :)
Remember the track rod consists of two parts joined together by a left hand thread.
