Just had new bushes fitted to radius arms and new trackrod bar and ends fitted, made big difference to the ride and steering ,so well pleased.:D:D
Mot due in august thought work my way through the list slowly and get it ready in the hope all goes well:lol:

Pretty much - buy I'm going to fit my 16" steel modulars permanently once I get the mud tyres on them swapped over with the A/Ts on my disco. It was just significantly more stable on the 16s... Plus I liked the look of the black steel modulars on the P38! I'll probably sell my hurricanes with the road tyres on...

One thing I've noticed is, although the directional stability is now pretty much sorted, I do get a bit of axle 'shudder' (rapidly shaking aide to side) very briefly if I go over a very rough bump or pothole. I'm putting that down to the polybushes having alot less 'side to side' give than the std rubber ones. It's not too disastrous though.

Radius arm bushes don't control anything side to side, that is the job of the panhard rod. They just stop axle from twisting under torque and of course allow it to move up and down in a controlled manner.

Ooooo.... bidding war!!!

Won't be doing it till the end of the month gents, so hold fire for now. Although in fairness, James, I ought to give you first refusal as I owe you a favour!
