towing with a freelander td4

anyone out there put a performance chip in their td4? for that extra bit of grrrr. power is there in mine but soon as i hitch caravan on........ yawn!!!!!! especially up hills.
 
not really felt the need, just (this morning) towed my caravan back from nr great yarmouth with my td4 auto, didn't struggle at all, even on the up hill section of the A12 nr colchester.

did feel like a different van once it was unhitched though.

Used to Mrs Anybody's freelanders, she's had both 1.8 & td4, to tow her horse trailer to get horse to shows, vets etc. They towed it quite well, especially the td4 auto.



Try a 2.5na !!!

Last time we had to get horse to vets towed horse trailler with my 2.5n/a hybrid. If it wernt for the hgv drivers slowing up and letting me out in front of them I would never have managed to merge onto the A14:eek:
