Welcome to landyzone regular users of chipfat for suncream lotion.
Worth checking out your gearbox oil for condition and level.
The more the strain on a gearbox oil the greater it weakens like overheating

Wont have anything to do with the gearbox oil level....only changed it a few months ago....would of thought it would of been more turbo related if anything.....

Any codes coming up?

P0229 would be turbo air intake usually that comes up alot as the hoses to the turbos are known to split. @Nodge68 will probably correct me if I'm wrong.

Turbo vane control actuator linkage can give issues if it's not been maintained, which if it's not been to LR for maintenance is likely.
Information on turbo actuator linkage maintenance is in the maintenance manual.
