6.8 Litres and 3spd Auto..

3mpg

As for the D3-D4 argument I'd be more inclined to go for the D3. :D

Wifey and I occasionally talk about getting a van.
That old fecker looks lovely!
We are into our old cars as I think you know. That van really has style!
Would quite like one of those Merkin things what are they called, Airstream?
But I'm a bit too Brit maybe for one. Unless i had a Yank to tow it.
But what a nice combo in that pic although one never expects to see a RR (not a Rangie) on a campsite!
The idea of a Roller with a towbar on it. Har Har Har!!!!!

Caravan was a Carlight continental the RR was a nice motor and it towed really well..

Not my car unfortunately driving it was fun it pulled like a train, you should get a nice vintage Van to go behind the Disco, quite cool to look at and that model in particular has quite a bit of space inside!

In an ideal world yes ;)
Just been reading up on all this, and it seems as if the Carlight was more like the Rolls Royce of caravans, the Vanroyce was deffo dead good, but the Carlight just pipped it, according to the caravan press of the time.
I have no idea, never having bought one!
Anyway they are both dead good and the early ones looked sooooooooooooooo cool!
:):):):):)
