We all love a Disco 3 and 4 and I’m starting a YouTube channel that will feature my D4 quite heavily.

My first video is about how I’ve found living with it over the last 6 years and the actual costs associated with it in that time.

There’s loads of disinformation and fearmongering out there. I simply wanted to add a pragmatic and informed take on what real life ownership is like, particularly for one that is used for overlanding style travel.

👀

When I watched 1 on a cross axle that had stopped both a 110 & Hilux ji was amazed.
Electronics took over and it carried on & it was dragging the trailer as well.
Friend drives a couple of lanes to the campsites unhooks & carries on.
Yep he complains about running costs & electronics that could go wrong he’s had 6 years of driving it daily
Think his only problem has been a rock knocked into the tank and damaged the fuel gauge & that shut the pump down, not straight away but 2 days later 20 miles from home(was 3days in wales laning)
Now has a plated tank to prevent this

Seriously impressive how it can do all of that and with a trailer on the back.

Good to know about the knock to the fuel tank causing some issues, I hadn't heard of that happening before.
