Have you got the proper key for the car or just the valet key? (Assuming its like a bmw)

Also, I wasnt aware that the earlier L322;s were touch screen? Again thought they came from the BMW parts bin. If its just showing a logo its the satnav drive in the boot that isnt starting up properly best to be replaced or sent away for repair, or could be a bad disc causing it to get stuck and crash. Assuming its an oem head unit?

Later 2005 models had the MOST touchscreen system fitted.

In the earlier model years 2002-2005 removing fuse 49 for 30 minutes would give the system a hard reboot, and worked for a majority of system hangs....on yours I am not sure if it would be the same fuse....

Had the same thing with my 06 vogue se.. I took fibre optic cables out of nokia unit in rear.. Joined them together, have dvd,cd. Radio, perfect..obviously no phone, buy i never used it anyway..

Late 54 reg model L322s had the MOST Touchscreen systems fitted, as long as they were the MY05 models.

Check the fuses for all the units first, CD, TV, Sat Nav, TMC, Nokia Bluetooth Unit and HK Amp. Blown fuse will cause your symptoms.

If fuses ok, then try disconnecting the fibre optic connection from the Nokia unit, remove the cables from the connector and 'join' the two cables together through a short length of Biro tube (i.e. the case of a Bic biro cut down to about 1 inch and insert the ends of the cables into each end of the case till they touch). There's a vid on youtube demonstrating the method.

If not the Nokia unit knackered (which is the most common cause of the fault0 then you may have to repeat the process with the other units connected through the fibre optic ring.

That's great news mate.:clap2:

You can either leave the cables connected as is, if you don't need the Nokia unit, or get a replacement off fleabay.
