Does the cake not go soggy in the snow, or does 110 woman have a speshul recipe for such occasions,:confused:

Found that sponge too absorbent for the snow- whilst the carrot cake with it's high oil content and it's protective outer frosting layer is much more water repellent.

Having said that the top of the range has to be a dense fruit cake, covered with marzipan and then iced with royal icing- the ultimate cake for all terrains :D

I find that carrot cake makes it easier to drive in the dark but if it's handling on corners you want a sticky toffee pudding is what you need :D

I have found that stick toffee pudding is too low profile and is too grippy- where as a lemon tote with a biscuit base has a rounder edge and has more bounce which gives you extra speed
