Hi fellow Land Rover owners, I’m new to this, I’m replacing the tyres on my Standard 2004 Land Rover discovery 2 td5. Currently it has 235/70/16.. I managed to pick up 5 insa tubro all terrain for a very reasonable price, although they are 265/75/16. Will I have any trouble with the size of these new tyres as my discovery is totally standard, I won’t be doing any serious off roading mainly road use and fields. Any feedback would be much appreciated cheers guys

Chuck em on and see is the only real answer. Or maybe get a 2nd set of rims.

Personally I'd expect them to rub in a few places. But you might be lucky.

You might need to lift it a bit for those, they're ~ 32 inch diameter, stock is 29. It'll probably only rub on articulation though.

Welcome.
This is the introduce yourself section. We like pics and info :)
There are tech sections for each model, which are best for questions like tyres, etc.
Enjoy :)

30s on a Disco aren’t too bad (slight rubbing)
32” Insas I got on my P38 and they are tight.

If you can live with less steering input I’d guess you’d manage in fields but no lock and articulation will be difficult. Car parks will be off the visit list :D
Insa turbos 2 I’ve found really good in the mud
