to lift or not

im interested in lifting my defender 90 up 2 inches, ive seen kits on ebay for 40mm and 50mm , has anyone used these kits and what do you think of them. also will it bugger up the handling too much as its used mainly for motorway driving and around town with the odd trailer towing.

Depending on the quality of the springs and dampers you use yes it will bugger up the handling on the road. If you use it for mainly town and motorway driving what's the point. And don't say " because it looks good" because that is just lame.

i would also like to off road the vehicle and want bigger offer road tyres too, i didnt put that in the question because i mainly will use it on the road.

that's what i wuz thinking, specially after he'd said "oh it wuz great fun sliding yer veyron last night"

seems strange to me too. seeing im about 7 miles away from defender of the realm, i was at his farm last night and logged onto landyzone using his pc maybe he didnt log out or something, apart from that i dunno, computers bewilder me at the best of times.
any other info about jacking up my 90?
