Hey guys pretty new to this site I have a disco 1 and I'm looking to do it up for abit of off roading and travelling I've been looking for some great tyres that will be good on road and off road when I'm getting abit muddy any help ? My rims are just basic landy rims if that matters but I'm up for changing them for a similar style but black

Insa Turbo Dakars - get a bit noisy about 60 odd on road, but seem to be pretty acceptable to me on the extremely moist grass and hills I mess about on with the scouts - havn't left me looking like a numpty yet.

Bargain at about 70 a corner.

Can we get more threads on tyres please! Because no one has ever asked that before.

Search FFS!

Don't agree entirely...

Yes, the question has been asked before, but things move on and it would do no harm to get more up-to-date views and comment. I've found many "standard" size tyres are hard to find so seeing what is current (and available) would have some use...

I wouldn't advise insa turbo dakars. They were spot on for the first 5000 odd miles could get anywhere special tracks would go then suddenly when they about half worn they will wear like feck and be bold before you know it. Never known a tyre run down so quickly.

Not really.

When was the last time a well known worthy brand of 4x4 tyres released a new model?

Tyres haven't changed for a while now, probably since the KM2 was released.

It gets very boring logging on and seeing tyre thread after tyre thread. Its always the same. Ill help people with anything i feel able but jeez its tedious if they haven't even attempted to search.

The internet is full of millions of reviews, why do people feel the need to ask again?!

+1 Search, Google, landrover mags. How difficult is it?
As you say there is only a handful of makes, they all make a range from road tyres to aggressive, and only a few sizes are applicable to the vehicles.
