thrust bearing gone (or on way out) ???

Hi Folks

After a long day towing my fishing boat me landy got upset

If I press the clutch it doesnt go all the way down, gear changes still work tho it's biting higher.

When the clutch is pressed in there is a dry whirring noise... it disappears when in gear and clutch depressed.

Is the clutch thrust bearing to blame ??

most likely ,change clutch and spigot bush at the same time

The series 3 clutch release bearings body is only plastic and soon wears away once the bearing its self starts to seize.
