Too cheap? worth a look i reckon but check it out

Well dodgy, worth double that as spares.

Dont be too quick to judge on cheap.....theres bargains to be had once in once in a blue moon but check it out 1st

They need a bloody good reason not to have a v5. Seems well dodgy to me, I'd steer clear.

It's easy enough to get new V5, just apply to local DVLA with all relevant information. Took me a week when I lost mine last year. Which begs the question, why has the seller not applied for a replacement? Having a V5 with the vehicle doesn't guarantee everything is in order but the seller would be asking a lot more with the V5. From the sellers grasp of the English language, English is probably not his/her first language. In this case there's a strong indication the seller might well be legging it out of the UK once its sold. Hopefully I'm wrong and its all legit.

theres a few reasons why you wouldnt have v5 but there are a lot of rung or built of dodgy parts lrs out there ,i see quite a few regulary

I think you may be exactly right, which is why I wouldn't touch it.

What are those reasons? apart from loosing it and being to bone idle to apply for a new one why else wouldn't you have a v5?

I'm genuinely curious as I don't know.

I was ooffered a 2001 td5 es disco for £750 s'pose you could say dont touch it with a barge pole but guess what....

Not all that seems dodgey is dodgey...chance ya take but its worth a look surely?

Did it have a v5?

I'm not questioning whether it's a bargain or not, if it's kosher it's a steal. I have bought some bargains in the past and am always on the lookout for them, I'm wondering what reason the seller may have for not possessing the v5?

Thats actually pretty close to me. If ive got any free time ill go have a look, if all looks good (even though I just bought a Landy) may buy another one!

Nope assume it's nicked until proven wrong. Too many C*nts out there selling nicked dodgy landies. and too many so called responsible landy owners who are happy to turn a blind eye as long as they get a cheap vehicle or cheap parts.

Agreed.. prove it to be not stolen to get a bargain?

Personally, I think it's as dodgy as hell. If you are the rightful owner and have simply 'lost' the V5, then you apply to the DVLA for a new one before even contemplating selling the vehicle.

Just saying in the advert 'it doesn't have a V5' is utterly absurd.

Hi I have a land rover defender 90 county for sale.
That need work done to it.
Its got a v8 engine init but we don't have a v5 for it.
But it got a new bumper for it that's not out of it box and
New brakes part that's not out of its boxs to. And
Another set wheel for it thst been spray.
