Thor to Gems Engine

Hi, im new to the site and hoping get to some good advice on my P38. I have a major overheating issue and have been advised it has combustion gas getting into the coolant. It's a 2001 4.6 LPG Thor (Bosch).

I have just bought a pressure tested 4.6 Gems short engine with new shells and rings.

Can I use the thor as a donor for the rest of the bits, head, etc?

Appreciate any help.

yes you can i have just done it, you will have to use the senser off you thor engine. and the front plate, but it all swaps over no problem..

Not completely,just totally reviewed what I was doing re work and life in general.Now I'm even more cynical !
