Really spamming the threads at the moment

Attached is a picture of my old 4.6 Thor, as you might imagine its much the same as my "new" 4.6 Thor however, can anyone tell me what the two things ringed in red are. There is a plastic "thing" sticking out of the manifold, that is present and looks OK. However the hose that is connected on my old one is not there on the new one.

What does this do? Where does it go? At the moment it appears to be causing an airleak into the inlet manifold (doesnt seem to bother the car but I can hear it and it obviously cant be helping). It looks almost as if the plastic connector into the metal manifold is slightly damaged. I can't see a hose that might have popped of anywhere but If I know where it supposed to go perhaps I can find it!

If memory serves me correctly, the plastic nipple has a hose connected to it that runs to the drivers side rocker cover and the other plastic plug next to it is just a blanking plug, I am giving mine a wash this morning so will have a look for you then report back.

Ok I'm a bit of an idiot I did think that breather hose looked a big lad.

That is present and correct it's something else that's missing. See attached image of my delightful engine bay! If you look below the breather hose you should be able to see what I mean looks about a 6mm thing. I cannot see anything obviously missing from the other end or anything flapping about!

That looks like the remains of a stop end just blank it off. Possibly been a vac take off for some model or another.
