How about one of these? Would make a great project...fit some forward facing rear seats, drop in a 300tdi and put in some side windows and you are good to go Look pretty cool too!

There a lot of tasty looking external roll cages on the market which wont take up any room inside like an internal one dose

Are you thinking general safety or do you do a bit of off roading

Both safety and for off roading in the future in regards to the roll cage
