hi just joined and i am looking for info on living with a 110 this would be a second vehicle for caravaning and general bombing around to work and back .how do they perform on road towing .will it be painfully slow or will it keep up with the rest of my crew who have mitsubishis .reason for a 110 is cheaper to insure parts are cheaper not to many electrics and i can handle a spanner also own a big hammer as well. so any one tow a caravan whats it like thanks dockrat:confused:

they are great i have one they are noisy elbow banging things BUT it will do every thing you ask of it including making pretty oil paterns over your drive and i would not change it for one of them jap crap 4x4 crap pieces of rubbish

Every Landy I have owned has been noisey, cramped, knocked about and slow. But I wouldn't have any other 4x4 on the drive.
Plus they're about the only vehicle I am still able to work on, no stupid electronics.

bombing around ie dogs down to the woods /rubish to the tip /haveing a laugh with the grandkids strapped in puddle jumping and stuff

yes i know they hold there money and seem a bit expensive but you can do so much to them and they dont seem to age so you can have an old one that still looks good and i want somthing that will last and can work on my self without all the electric bit s just got to find a good 200tdi .but not in a rush any one used mrm or county and defender center at leicter some dealer reveiws would be good

I'm not arguing with you over what you can or can't do with a 110 csw cos they are also my weapon of choice.;):p

The vehicles from MRM etc may look good but they are also way over priced. You may be better buying one privately and then using the money you saved to maintain it or rectify any faults.

Depends how much you want to spend and what you want to use it for, if you are after a minter and don't mind spending over the odds, got the dealer route.

If you are looking for a landy to use as a landy should be used, I'd take my time and buy privately. You do get the odd gem on ebay or I bought mine from someone on this forum and I am well happy with it.

got plenty of time in no rush i know dealers are a bit dearer than private .will take my time and look and test drive a few before i buy thanks but what they like towing caravan s do they shake the van to bits or are they ok cheers
