Things To Do With A Discovery 1 V8?

Hi

In my garden i have a 1994 Discovery 3.9 V8 sat rotting away slowly, and i feel bad about the poor thing sat there all alone. Id like to do something with it and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? bear in mind that im 20, im an engineer so any work is easily done and i used to do a lot of offroading until i met the mrs...but id like to start again,

Does anyone have any ideas?

My Mate Currently Has a Mondeo which is sat in his garden too, and i was wondering if i loosened the disco body bolts and crashed them together.....body swap?

If you are 20 and have already had to stop doing the things you enjoy cus of a woman there's something majorly wrong!

It wasnt because she told me to it was more a choice of how to spend my time, lying under a car or lying on top of her...

I fail to see how those two options are mutually exclusive

I reckon strip it out, fix any rot and build it into a rally vehicle...

Its a crappy auto box though, sort of ruins it for rallying i could chuck a manual box in though i suppose

Buy an old manual one thats overheated but fairly solid and swap engines

Then bobtail, trayback, soft top, dakar it however you see fit

Make a V8 blender

I have decided to restore it, as these days discovery's are getting a bit sparse with everyone modifying them or breaking them, so id like to restore it to mint condition and then maybe off road mod it ;D

Get some ideas from mr noisy
His looks nice.

Fairplay, off road modded imo.
