Hey all couldn’t find my other thread so thought I start part 2.

Basically my freelander has a wobble on the front end when accelerating.
After my mechanic suggested it could have been a couple of things I booked it in to a local specialist. Before I give the report 2 days before it was due in I found out that one of the CV joints is knackered and thought this must be the wobbler but thought id still get it all checked to confirm it.

I picked up the car witht he report and there saying the wobble is a strange one and they can only put it down to a VCU seized, can a seized VCU cause the front end to wobble like crazy when accelerating or do these people know what there on about cause they didn’t mention either the track rod end which is knackered or the knackered CV joint.

At the price of a £750 + VAT fix I’m double checking just in case they don’t know what it is and picked an expensive bit to see if it would fix it.
Cheers for any help!
