Well every thing must come to an end and today is the day, my baby is up for sale, put it on Ebay, have a look if anyone you know is interested. :( ebay item number 120612907450. putting an ad in the for sale section. good by all.

Thats just the sort of advert i click off very quickly :D

Funny if I were in the market for a RHD its exacty the ad I would look at. Cos you can track back all the forum posts by the seller and run through the problems he had before he thought about selling it!

another p38 owner bites the dust :5bsifone:

Lol! Fett I tried to buy a Classic, I really did! The bugger wanted over EUR 10,000 for it.

How's your restoration coming along?

well I was happy to find the brand new engine it had in it and than now runs a treat. I have just bought a used lumnetion igntion and dizzy to go in it too.

I have cleaned up the bulkhead and inner wings a bit to get an idea of what I am facing and was very happy to say the inner wings are almost as new and the few holes on the bulkhead are so much smaller than I thought that a few coins welded on should sort that.

I am just waiting for the weather to get the rad out of the 79 and put it in the 72 as its weeping a bit and stu is coming to do both clutch cylinders and a fluid change next month.

the real work will start in march, I am jsut debating which do do first : bulkehead, drivers footwell, fuel filler or rear crossmember???  lol

at the moment though I am more worried about the MOT for the 1990 and the full set and discs and pads on the back and the sticky claiper
