It's going to be for the floor, the seam that we are going to be stitching together is going to be right over the top of the chassis rail right next to the tunnel, my only worry is the underseal catching and going up under the tunnel!

Read my mind. Also have a big can of 'parts cleaner'. Sill section looks spot on

First fit of a post repair panel - needs to be joggled to fit flush with original.
Also floor repair plate manufactured..... cannot be fitted until bulkhead and replacement floor fitted.



Note use of rivet pins - an ideal, repeatable, way of checking alignment and fit. Yet easily removable to allow “adjustment”

“Noo” floor repair panel, first fit... looking good



Needs cleaning and prepping, as does floor panels it mates to, but am quite pleased with it so far .
It still needs an underfloor top hat section fitted, but the main fit looks ok.

Only oops if you've cut through the speedo cable lol

Peeps wonder why disco windscreens leak - good old landrover quality fit .



There is a good half inch gap between the two panels.

Shot blasted the n/s chassis rail between the two outriggers (almost) and Kurusted. Have to finish then primer and paint.


Unfortunately the nozzles on the Chassis POR primer are blocking within about 5 secs of use and are causing me major headaches .

that half inch panel gap is quite good for landrover.....
