I bought something back along non lr related and the manufacturer didn't want to know, the credit card company said they would intervene if I wanted.

But I thought I'd try another way first, so I set up a website listing my grievances and pointing people to it who also had problems.

I also repeatedly went on their forum after failing politely to get a response.

Turns out they have realised I could cause a viral pr disaster-now they want to talk after hours to rectify the situation.

Now without saying what I bought I highlighted the issues with- after being ignored for a month- do you think a free item would be justified on say a £100-150 item from a large company?

Are you gonna shed some light on the subject?:p:p:p

Snigger it's quite surprising what can be achieved for £7.50 for a domain name:p

I reckon a full replacement and some spares and accessories has to be a fair solution, if they come good I'll alter the site and link to theirs.

2 hours from dropping a bombshell on their forum and say 300 views total = 18:45 email and 23:20. I reckon I have their attention.

I've suggested a little customer service would go a long way.

Is that not like extortion, mafia tactics

Their choice, continued highlighting of **** poor customer service or they can get their **** together and sort it out.:D

Call it an investment or goodwill for ****ing me around:p

Public accountability

Exactly, so either they rectify poor service and take remedial steps on a product that is not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose- or I can just upload some photo's of the quality control issues as well.

I hope they do the fair thing and get their act together!

email just after 6am this morning after failing to bull**** me asking what I recommend:fighting2:

So I have suggested a checked product replacement free of charge which I would review positively-choice is theirs.

They'd like to send me a free replacement it appears and some extra's £264 euros +shipping retail value, that or a solicitors letter:5brant:

That and I'll do a fair review and alter my website and will :pop2: still be allowed to post on their forum.

I had a similar thing fanny, bought a part from a well known landrover breaker (not one I have seen advertised on here) part came with no brackets and was also ally not steel. They had told me it was steel before I bought it so I wasnt happy but phoned to say the brackets were missing. they were sent out but when I tried to fit the part it was the complete wrong one. I phoned up and was told no returns and that I was a prick and had phone put down,( I hadnt even got shirty or sworn my self)

Now that may well be true (beat you to it :p ) but I wasnt having that so I phoned Mr big boss ****r back and told him "that tonight that will be all over the net" and hung up on him.

20 mins later I got a very sheepish call back saying that I could have a refund and please dont put it on the net as he will never get rid of it.

I thought about it but I did want my £70 back so I said ok and got a refund the next week lol

I love the net

Great isn't it then a search engine can spread it round.
All I wanted was it sorted without any hassle.

me too, he just went from normal to cnut in 1 milisecond.

So thank God for the net so we finally have a voice and some power with this kinds of thing!

Not at all, just it would be wise when my site comes up as first or second to fourth search on Google with product name and quality problems or a thread I posted on- not to have Landyzone appear under it as well.

I have made my point, they are supposedly going to be more customer focused and sending me a replacement etc

Until they have had a reasonable time to sort it the website stays, but the photo's will not be uploaded- if they resolve it then the site will change to reflect service recieved.

If you want to stick your penis near this product it may not be usable after
