The Olympics

I hate to think how many extra plain clothes policemen and other more special security personnel there will be with err extra hardware floating about East London, during the Olympics.

Let alone all the overseas security personnel plus hardware, decending on East London with their Country Leaders.

i work right behind the excel centre... not looking forward to getting to work whilst that s***s on!!!

i work in the industry that was ment to benifit from building of..no chance..big boys only..cheap labour..total farse...hate hate hate it...what a waste of cash...

i would be so happy to see it all burn to the ground..as would eveybody here...no jobs for locals, unles you include a few weeks working at macs..etc...what fecking help is that to the young unemployed in and around newham and hackney...

then its all sold off (has already been at a loss) to the rather well to do...

What did you expect?
Government promises to be anything but a pack of lies?
Normal people to get any real tangible good come their way?
Taxpayers money to be well spent?

If you did, then I have just won the Nigerian lottery and need to 'borrow' £10,000 to collect it in person.


As far as the Olympics are concerned, people who live and work in London are an inconvenience. Expect to be treated accordingly.
