P38A The Old P38 Runs again!

I sent this BeCM off the Martin/MartyUK and he rebuilt it!

Sent it back to me in double quick time!

I fitted it, turned the key and she fired immediately as if she had only been sat since yesterday!

No knocking no misfires it just roars!

Goes well!

And the Tailgate opens etc so the Short was the Amp!

Ahh Gents/Ladies i'm so ecstatic it's unreal!

Anyway here she is!

The EAS also raised immediately too!! and stays level!

The only issue the the Passenger door won't unlock! eh who cares i'm just enjoying her!!

Glad it's all working properly again... it was properly cooked inside.... I'll share the pictures if he doesn't mind.

Luckily all it needed was a replacement power board (one of the tracks was actually blown off the board!) and a replacement ribbon cable between the logic and power boards, as it had some char marks on it from when the track cooked underneath it. The logic board was otherwise OK. Also there was a faulty microswitch in the door latch - the plunger on the CDL switch was broken, so it was showing as being unlocked all the time.

I'm pretty positive it was my AMP that had water in it!

TWAS crispy.
