The oil feed in the turbo on a TD5.

Can any of the TD5 guurrrooooooos confirm the torque setting for the banjo bolt on the top of the turbo please.

As it's such a tiny hole the last thing i need is for the damn bolt to be misaligned and the turbo go pop.

I've got a figure of 25nm. Any advance?

25nm should be ok , i just nip them up

Thanks James,

I did go for the nip up option but it started pumping oil so decided on the torque setting.

Also struck a line across the top of the bolt head in line with the hole.

hole alignment wont matter,new or used washers

if they are good you can reuse them but might be your leak

I'll have another look and replace just to be safe. A quid or two changing washers beats a new turbo.

New washers and just nipped tight. No need to lean on them. You can anneal and reuse old washers a few times but they are not expensive.
