So I changed the waterpump, faily straight forward, except those rubber mountings holding the fan guard snapped.
Then the hose between the water pump and the thermostat housing had a cut in it, easy I thought, just whip off the housing to replace it, cuz u cant get it off otherwise, or can you.
So I undoes the three housing bolts, one snaps, damn. So I buy a set of stud extracters, they snap off the remaining bit of stud that was showing (now wanting to push land rover over a cliff)
Out comes the drill, manage to drill out the stud but not sure if i have damaged the housing beyond repair
So anyway, where do i get those housing bolts, can u still get the housing, and what about those rubber fan guard mounts
