My N/A is a good runner but it blasts oil out. Do you know if HB's has new piston rings? I'd be willing to pay up to and within the region of 100 pounds, but would like to see photos or possibly video etc. first!

ffs pos u can get a tdi for 300 if you search around a bit, il never understand why you insist on stickin with the NA when for a little more money and effort you can have a far quieter and more powerful engine!

pos, i have a n/a sitting in kirby stevens if you want it you can have it for 36 quid, but you will need to collect it

maybe he likes having no power and it sounding like a tractor? my dad re-ringed his 2.5 turbo and had a brand new port polished head and i still think its sick as hell and so does he becuase it is lol get a 300tdi disco engine in it lad

Yes I do like my land rover sounding like a tractor and I like the fuel economy that I get from it. Is a 200 / 300 really more efficient?

a 200tdi is better on fuel than an NA, so ive heard. then again ive also heard the NA is better, but either way im sure theres not a lot in it.

mmm. I like the more traditional engine though. Would a 200 tdi really give me a noticeable performance increase as in feeling like the car is really pulling, up hills too? If the turbo pipe was to go, would it still run quicker than my N/A?

well comparing my mates 200tdi defender to my TD, the difference really is amazing.

ive got a disco 200tdi which im gona put in my TD next weekend, il report back then.

also planning on gettin an allisport intercooler which along with a turbo/fueling tweak should take it up to 140-150bhp.
