Evening all! Quick update! Sheddist kit was finally fitted last night and in putting everything back together I found that the battery clamp bolt is shot so that's a job for Saturday! I would put pics up of the clutch hydraulics but the engine bay is in a dire state and needs a good clean. The clutch now works nicely, however, the gears are rather sticky and a bit of a pain which I'm putting down to gearbox oil or linkages? Can anyone tell me a quick easy way to get to the linkages to grease them or is it a Jack the car up and take off the sump guard job?

Yes pics please. Dirt isn't an issue as it shows it's working for a living.;)

Gearbox oil being past it can cause stiffness when changing gear.

It's more the rust and general condition of what has been a very unloved engine bay!
Ordered some gearbox oil but delivery is Monday so that's on hold until next weekend, guess I'd better help the mrs in the garden tomorrow! I'll get some photos up tomorrow too.

Cool, look forward to seeing some Derbyshire garden photos. Long time since I've been to Derby.

As promised a couple of photos when the outside had a clean this weekend. I'll get some of the engine bay tonight with the sheddist kit. Gel, I'll put a couple of the garden up later too :D

Hey guys, bit of an odd one, gone to fit some roof rails today and as I was unscrewing the plastic covers the captive bolt fell. I took the light off and got it out but now I can't get it back in the holder (guessing it wasn't in there in the first place) any ideas or is it gonna be a case of taking the internals out to get to where it needs to go?
